2024 Fall Schedule
Summertime is here and soon it will be workshop season! We’ve got a bunch of happenings this Fall! We’ll have the typical offering of workshops as well as our Marathon Walling Event. There are plenty of activities for all skill levels this Fall!
Below you’ll find the slate of workshops. They’re all $400 for the two days. More information on each workshop and the itinerary for each day can be found by clicking the link to each workshop. Any other questions can be sent to dscadmin@drystone.org. We hope to see y’all out there!
The 2024 Walling Marathon will take place on September 14 and 15 at McConnell Springs Park. It is a FREE event. The more participants the merrier! This year we will be adding on to the previous marathon’s wall. There will be demonstrations, talks, and opportunities to discuss all things stone. As usual, the event can’t take place without volunteers. So, we’ll be offering up two-hour volunteer time slots for people of all skill levels. This gives the novice a chance to work alongside more experienced masons. An opportunity the craft deserves. Volunteer shifts require previous workshop attendance to sign up. There are, however, a few spots for the complete beginner. If you’d like to get involved with a shift, please fill out the form by following the above link or emailing dscadmin@drystone.org
