Join us for an intensive dive into the historic craft of hand carved letters in stone. In this class we will explore the history of hand carved lettering in traditional monuments, learn how to transfer letters and patterns from paper to stone, and learn to carve raised letters and recessed V-shaped letters. Each student will receive a slab of Indiana Limestone on which to practice and information on where to purchase letter carving tools. All tools necessary will be provided during the class.

This class will be taught by DSC Master Craftsman, Stuart Joynt and will be located in Bourbon County, Kentucky.

Payments are refundable (less a $25 cancellation fee) only if we hear from you at least two weeks prior to the first day of your workshop. Deposits and payments are otherwise nonrefundable.
